The company Kawasaki was founded in 1896 by Kawasaki Shozo. It’s a Japanese multinational company mainly known for manufacturing motorcycles, engines and heavy equipment. Kawasaki motorcycles are always manufactured at Kawasaki Heavy Industries at plants which are located in Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, India and Japan. Kawasaki has its headquarters in Kobe and Tokyo, Japan, Kawasaki is also one of the biggest competitors in the market and the greatest industrial company currently around the world.

When we talk about the reliability of motorcycles manufactured by Kawasaki it’s pretty much reliable when compared to other brands or competitors in the market at the same time they are affordable to many as well since they have a wide range of product line up which covers all the segments in the biking field. Kawasaki has a wide range of options provided for people with different interests and tastes and they have also produced the fastest track weapon named H2R which created a world record of reaching 400kmph in 23 seconds.

Kawasaki is well known for its colour which is green because most of its bikes come with a standard green colour in India for sale, among the world’s fastest superbikes Kawasaki is leading the table with two of its fastest Superbikes and they are Kawasaki Ninja H2R with a top speed of 400km/h and Kawasaki Ninja H2 with a top speed of 351km/h.

The Kawasaki ZX-10R is also a sportbike from the Ninja series which was a successor to the Ninja   ZX-9R of the previous generation before the ZX-10R came into production. ZX-10R is a 998 cc which was launched in 2004 but it has always been revised throughout the years to make it better in terms of power and performance, braking, reducing the bike weight and also the ultra-narrow chassis which has a max speed of 299 to 300 km/h with fuel economy of 12 to 16 km/l with overall bike weight around 206 to 207 kilos.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is a 296 cc Ninja series sport bike which was introduced into the market by Kawasaki in the year 2012 for the 2013 year, this Ninja 300 is widely sold in most of the countries where Kawasaki has a market such as Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. Ninja 300 is most commonly seen in green in India and white as an option for us whereas other countries have more options of colors to choose from. It has a top speed of 171-192 km/h with a fuel capacity of 17L with an overall bike weight of around 164 kilos.

Kawasaki Ninja 650R is a motorcycle in the ninja series line up which was launched in 2006 and later in years from 2012 the model drops the R suffix from its name, this bike is a mid-segment motorcycle designed for the normal usage on paved roads with fuel economy of 21 km/l with the overall weight of bike being around 196 kilos.

Kawasaki Z900 is a 900 cc sportbike from Z series of Kawasaki which is a four-cylinder standard motorcycle made by Kawasaki in 2017 after they replaced their previous model named Z800 which was an 800 cc motorcycle considered as a naked sports bike with a max speed of 195 to 255 km/h with fuel economy of 15.26 to 17.5 km/l with the overall weight of the bike being around 210 to 212 kilos.

Kawasaki Versys 1000 is a motorcycle which is commonly used for long rides considering the fact it’s comfortable to sit when compared to the other sports bike, Versys is a dual-sport motorcycle which can be used on roads as well as off the road at the same time with the fuel economy of the bike being around 10 km/l with the overall bike weight around 255 kilos.

Kawasaki has an increase in raw material cost and fluctuating foreign exchange rate as the reasons for the price hike for few products in the sports bike line up. A select range of models will see an increase of 7 percent considering the increase in material costs and exchange rates. The newly launched Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and the Versys 1000 were likely to be affected and were priced at a higher cost than the usual pricing.

Kawasaki is known as a good brand for beginning riders as they have a wide range of options to choose which starts from the lower segment for people who want to start riding sports bikes with less power and who should also consider lightweight, easy-to-ride bikes with small-displacement engines. These bikes are typically fairly inexpensive and are a great way to get a feel for the hobby before upgrading to something larger and more powerful. 

For the Superbike World Championship, which takes part the Kawasaki Racing Team is fielding factory-prepped Ninja ZX-10RR machines which are highly powerful and have a lot of potentials. Even as a model in Kawasaki’s flagship supersport Ninja ZX-10R Series, the Ninja ZX-10RR stands out, having been developed with circuit performance and World Superbike victory in mind. 

These bikes have won races because of their performance and that is what Kawasaki is known for in the racing category they have always been a tough competitor for others. Then we had the road-legal versions of the Kawasaki ZX-10R and ZX-10RR entering into the market with the 10-RR being a limited edition with only 500 units made across the globe. It was considered the most awaited bike amongst the powerful bikes about to enter the market.

Kawasaki motorcycles are considered big guns in the racing industry. The Kawasaki brand is familiar to motocross racing fans, MotoGP, Superbike and Grand Prix circuits.
